ABOUT JUAN THORNHILL

Juan Thornhill is a seasoned 2X Super Bowl champion NFL safety, currently playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Born on October 19 in Altavista, Virginia, Thornhill showcased his athleticism early on, excelling in both football and basketball during high school. He continued his football journey at the University of Virginia, where he played from 2015 to 2018, Majoring in Anthropology.

In the 2019 NFL Draft, Thornhill was selected in the second round (63rd overall) by the Kansas City Chiefs. He made an immediate impact, starting all 16 games in his rookie season and earning PFWA All-Rookie Team honors. His tenure with the Chiefs was marked by significant achievements, including contributing to the team’s victories in Super Bowl LIV and Super Bowl LVII. 

After four seasons with Kansas City, Thornhill signed a three-year contract with the Cleveland Browns in 2023, he remained a key defensive player when on the field.

In March 2025, Thornhill joined the Pittsburgh Steelers on a one-year deal, bringing his veteran experience and championship pedigree to the team’s secondary.

Off the field, Thornhill embraces fatherhood. He and his wife, Reagan, welcomed their first child, a daughter named Aspen, on May 24, 2024. 

Thornhill often enjoys family time, fashion, video games, grilling and fishing.
